Mountain Sky United Methodist Foundation is expanding its capacity. This new bookkeeper position will be a key part of this expansion. The individual will enjoy a variety of tasks, about 33% bookkeeping, 33% clerical, and 33% customer service.

Areas of Responsibility
The Bookkeeper is responsible for a variety of office support functions including validation and inputting A/P and A/R transactions, electronic record retention, maintaining the contact manager database. Clerical and receptionist duties are also apart of this role which include answering the phone, mailing statements and communications, printing stamps, opening the mail, confirming appointments, and other support as required by the Executive Director.

Associate degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, computer science, or related field

5+ years’ bookkeeping role supervised by higher level accounting position, data entry, accounting systems, talking to clients, basic A/P and A/R transactions; non-profit a plus, but not required

Knowledge/skills required:
Excellent verbal, written communication skills, able to work independently, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, familiar with accounting and record keeping systems
